This was part of a 4.5 mile loop from Castleton up Winnats Pass, Windy Knoll, Mam Tor and Hollins Cross before coming back down the Liggate, the old coffin route to Edale. No hikes for me today, it’s a day of adulting and responsibilities - boring!! Have you visited Lyme Park yet? We walked a loop Have you visited Lyme Park yet? We walked a loop from the car park to the Cage, past the deer, up into Lantern Wood to the Lantern and then over to the Bowstones. We had planned to visit Sponds Hill trig but there were a load of vans there so we decided against it, returning back to the house via Knightslow Wood.
